Contracted by Sempra Energy Services Company to produce HVAC facility
and Central Plant upgrades providing savings and delivering value
to the end client in the shortest possible time frame.
This Stony Brook University HVAC renovation includes new and rebuilt
chill water system components, control systems, sheet metal ductwork,
air handler units and fresh air fans. Project involves multiple
buildings on the university's east campus including two occupied
hospital towers, and requires simultaneous work underground, on
rooftops, and in mulitple mechanical rooms.
All energy efficient measures are implemented to meet environmental
requirements and with minimal disruption to normal hospital and university
operations.
To date, MMA has successfully compressed the chiller water portion of
the schedule from 9 months to 3 months, exceeding client expectation,
and accelerating client's return on investment by implementing
efficiency measures sooner than expected.
Project is still active.
