An award winning country inn,
restaurant & conference center
The project consisted of the modernization and
restoration of, and an addition to a
100+ year old stone structure, the former Axe Castle.
The scope
of work comprised selective and extensive demolition to allow
for:
- installation
of all new M.E.P.S. and telecommunication systems
- new elevator
- handicap accessible entries
- new state of the art
restaurant, banquet and pastry
kitchens; all other related facilities
- restructuring of various floors to allow for the construction
of suites.
All work was performed while carefully preserving and replicating the unique
architectural features of the original castle.
